Villa Arimbi is a traditional Balinese holiday complex located in Sanur, just a 5-minute walk from the beach. Villa Arimbi houses 5 fully air-conditioned bedroom suites fitted with quality beds draped in white mosquito nets – 4 double beds and fitted with twin beds. Each villa suite has its own character and name: Orient Express: This colonial-inspired bedroom is reachable via a wooden staircase and the room has a warm atmosphere, designed with timbers and Chinese antiques. The en-suite bathroom is open-air, fitted with double rain showers for him and her. Uluwatu: This 85m2 villa suite features a blend of traditional and modern furnishings. The room boasts walk-in wardrobes, a semi-open office space and an opulent en-suite bathroom fitted with an open-air shower and a terrazzo bathtub. Nomad: This is the twin-bedded room, located beneath the Orient Express – great for families with kids. The design is all natural and the en-suite features a bathtub and an outdoor shower. Shalimar: This colorful room
is found on the first floor of the Pond Pavilion. The en-suite bathroom links to a spacious dressing room which can also be set up with an extra single bed. N5: The design of this bedroom is minimalist, sober and elegant. The en-suite bathroom is partly outdoors. Each bedroom has its own safety box to store valuable items and the Lumbung rice barn can function as an additional bedroom.
The Outdoor Areas
You will enter the compound through a traditional Balinese ‘aling aling’ gate, meant to keep bad spirits away. Behind the gate, lies a stunning garden – the centerpiece of this holiday estate – featuring lily and lotus ponds, tropical plants and trees and a glistening private swimming pool as well as a jacuzzi. The pool is 12-meters long, perfect for lap swimming and it is flanked by a timber deck furnished with sunbeds, parasols and a bale where you can chill out on the daybed, reading a book or taking a little daytime nap. The ultimate garden hang-out is the gazebo surrounded by lily ponds where you can inhale the sweet scent of frangipani flowers and listen to the sound of rippling water. Villa Arimbi is found close to Mertasari Beach in the heart of Sanur. On the beach, there are lots of places to sit down for drinks, food, cocktails and snacks, overlooking the ocean. If you are an early bird, make sure to catch the sunrise in the early morning – it is stunning! The sea in Sanur is mostly calm, great for families with kids and there are also
watersports. The town is home to lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. Rent a bicycle and go explore. You can even cycle all the way to Serangan Island and back. The international airport of Bali is just a 30 minutes drive away.
